You may ask, “does Aveeno Eczema Cream have steroids?” but you also need to ask, what other over-the-counter products may contain steroids as well…

Steroids are a common ingredient in many over-the-counter skin care products.

They are usually labeled with “1% Hydrocortisone”.

So make sure to read the ingredients before buying them.

Double check with your Pharmacist, Family Doctor, and healthcare professionals like a Certified Nutritional Practitioner.

Steroid creams can help with inflammation and itching, which is what eczema often causes.

However, there are some people who are allergic to steroids.

Many people with eczema feel relief when they use steroids.

But steroid creams never cure eczema.

They are a short term, temporary solution.

If you depend on them too much, it can actually result in topical steroid withdrawal.

Now that you’ve ruled out does Aveeno Eczema Cream have steroids, you might be wondering what’s next.

How can I heal my eczema?

The first thing you need to do is to determine the root cause of your eczema.

Most Family Doctors don’t have time to do this for you.

They can provide you with a bandaid solution with steroid creams and antihistamines like Reactine.

But you can figure it out on your own.

The best place to start is to see if any particular food group is causing your eczema.

It could be dairy, gluten, and even excess sugar consumption.

Is it something in your detergent, perfume/cologne?

Are you allergic to something in your house like dust?

Once you rule these out, then it can become a bit more tricky.
